Waiting For Spring

I am definitely NOT a winter person….these images make me long for warm, sunny days.  At least the groundhog did NOT see his shadow today so only 4 more weeks until spring right????  ;)

Harry Potter Party

Back in August we had a Harry Potter party for Miss Izzy.  Unfortunately my photos didn’t turn out too great due to the fact that I was hosting the party.  :)   The kiddos had fun decorating their own magic wands, creating new potions, making their own crystal balls and eating lots of fun treats.  Overall I think Miss Izzy had a very magical birthday!

A big thank you to Events By Kate for helping me with the fun sweet table and potions details for the party!

Instagram Photo Dump for June…

So what have we been up to these past hot days of June????  Art camp which the kiddos have LOVED!!!  Thank you Artist at Heart!!! We have had many trips to the local swimming pool, Great America and downtown Chicago and lots of ice cream at the Tastee Freeze. Of course we couldn’t forget to include our pup Millie Mae!  Doesn’t she look thrilled to be sporting her “circus afro”?? :)

If you are wondering what that white and yellow object is (in the second row), it’s the beginning stages of the kid’s lemonade stand.  They can’t wait till it’s done!  I have pinterest to thank for that idea.  :)

Inspiration for doing an instagram photo dump is from the fabulous blog (which is so worth checking out) Enjoying The Small Things….
