I took my three crazy kiddos out this past weekend for our annual holiday card session….yes I am a bit early but I just want it done and off my “to do” list.  After a lot of wardrobe coordinating,  getting them all dressed and out the door, off we went.  Well… what is the saying….”the best laid plans”…… What a disaster.  Izzy was great but my two guys were soooo NOT cooperative.  Sam looks like he is being tortured in every photo and Ben was just a crazy, wild little stinker who would not stand still for a second.   I think I am just going to have to make these work in a card because I don’t think I have the  time or the strength to try this again..   If you happen to get one of my holiday cards this year, hopefully you will know what a pain two of my three kiddos were and won’t judge it to harshly. Ha!

Last week we celebrated Izzy’s birthday with a gumball themed party….I wasn’t quite sure what we would do at a gumball themed party (it was Izzy’s idea) so we had kraftykidz come in and make a fun gumball craft with the girls.  We also had a bubble blowing contest which resulted in LOTS of big bubbles popping on faces and a fun little “photobooth” equipped with paper glasses, mustaches and glitter lips.  I think (hope) they had a great time. 

Unfortunately, my party photos didn’t turn out as good as I had hoped.   I was too busy with the actual party “stuff” and didn’t spend enough time taking photos.  I am soo bummed!  Note to self, next time I throw a party I should hire a photographer to take the photos!

Wow it’s been a busy week!  Two of my three kiddos celebrated birthdays this week and went back to school.    Izzy started on Wednesday and Sam started kindergarten today….I have to say that I was REALLY sad to see him go.  I know that he is/was totally ready but it still made me a little sad to see him get on that bus like such a big kid.

Hope you had a great weekend!  We had a weekend full of girlies and gumballs, the theme to Izzy’s birthday bash (more on that later).

I can’t believe summer vacation is coming to an end.  The kiddos start school next week.  I am sooo bummed!  Here are just a few “snapshots” from our week so far…

The most exciting thing that has happened is that Sam lost his first tooth!  It’s so strange to see my guy missing one of his bottom front teeth…
