I can NOT believe Baby Ben turned one today….this year has been the fastest of my life. The kids and I made Ben a cake, now we are no Martha Stewart….but it still turned out pretty cute….Most importantly, Ben LOVED it!

I try to get my camera out at least once a day to shoot some random photos….here are my photos from today. Nothing too terribly special, just Izzy in her cute Matilda Jane outfit looking less than thrilled to have her photo taken yet AGAIN…LOL…The bright purple Crocks were her addition to her outfit!

We are away this Memorial Day weekend at my in-laws weekend house in Galena, IL.  Galena is a beautiful historical town with wonderful spots for photo shoots…I was so looking forward to taking photos of my kiddos…do you think I could get anyone to volunteer to sit for some photos this weekend?  Absolutely not….LOL!  I basically begged Izzy to come out with me for a bit….it didn’t go so well.  She was freezing and I forgot to charge my battery….doesn’t that figure?  Here are a few that I got …..I had a bit of fun with the “post process”….hope you are having a great weekend!!!!!

Izzy was so excited when we spotted the Wiener Mobile the other day…we just HAD to stop and take a few photos! I am sure many a hot dog will be consumed this weekend! Have a fantastic Memorial Day weekend!

Gone are the days of pretty pink tutus and ballet slippers…this year Izzy wanted to try out a hip-hop dance class. She had her big dance recital this past weekend and did a fantastic job! Here she is in her recital costume….You can’t tell from the photo but it’s actually a jumpsuit with a gold lamé belt…I have to say it’s quite “a look”! LOL! I think she looks like she is ready to go disco dancing at Studio 54 circa 1978…LOL! Just in case you were wondering, she is making her “hip-hop” face in the second photo. LOL!

I took Izzy out the other day to try to get some fun sun flare shots but it just wasn’t happening…Every time we tried to get a good shot the sun decided to hide behind a cloud…The best I could get was a little backlighting..not what I wanted but I still like them….

These three little cuties sure kept me and their mom on our toes! LOL! I definitely got a workout but it was well worth it….just look how adorable these guys are!!!!! Little “Miss O” is a girl after my own heart looking ever so stylish in her Matilda Jane outfit and gorgeous red pettiskirt. Of course everything ran a lot smoother once mom brought out the M&M’s….can you tell I am ALL about bribery to get a great shot?!? LOL!
