Oh the things I get talked into….two years ago I purchased some adorable wooden dolls that were hand painted by the fabulous Gemmielou to look like our family. Izzy has always wanted a set of her own. For some reason this week she decided I needed to paint a set for her. If you know my daughter you know that when she gets an idea in her head she is RELENTLESS until she gets her way. LOL! So….what have I been doing this week? Painting wooden dolls of course. Since I am in NO WAY good at painting, I did my best to copy Gemmie’s dolls. I desperately needed her inspiration. If you check out her site you will see she is amazing and yes I know mine look to be at about the 1st grade level. Ha!

I’ve been meaning to make these for my daughter since I saw someone blog about them at Christmas a couple of years ago. Hmmm. Maybe I can use them as a reward if she manages to keep her room clean for more than a day.
