Kate Bogot Photography bio picture
  • Hi there!  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!  My name is Kate Bogot. I am a mom to three fabulous kids who happens to be a natural light photographer in the Chicagoland area.  I specialize in newborns, babies, children, families and high school seniors.

My blog is where you will find lots of photos of my kiddos as well as photos from recent sessions and the latest news from Kate Bogot Photography.

I would love to hear from you so please feel free to leave a comment!

Please be respectful of copyright laws and do not copy or download any images without Kate's permission. Thanks so much!

Just so you know, I have NOT fallen off the face of the earth!! 🙂  It’s just been a crazy, busy summer that my poor blog has been ignored.  I am finally posting images from a session I had a while back with three gorgeous young ladies.  They were so wonderful to photograph.  🙂  Hope your summer is going well!

esther alvarez - Hola Kate! Hace mucho tiempo que no te escribo. Ya te echaba de menos. Muy bonitas las fotos, como siempre. Un saludo. Esther

So what have we been up to these past hot days of June????  Art camp which the kiddos have LOVED!!!  Thank you Artist at Heart!!! We have had many trips to the local swimming pool, Great America and downtown Chicago and lots of ice cream at the Tastee Freeze. Of course we couldn’t forget to include our pup Millie Mae!  Doesn’t she look thrilled to be sporting her “circus afro”?? 🙂

If you are wondering what that white and yellow object is (in the second row), it’s the beginning stages of the kid’s lemonade stand.  They can’t wait till it’s done!  I have pinterest to thank for that idea.  🙂

Inspiration for doing an instagram photo dump is from the fabulous blog (which is so worth checking out) Enjoying The Small Things….

Anyway….here is a GORGEOUS young lady that I had the pleasure of photographing recently….

Ross - Such a beautiful young girl! Your pictures of her are nothing short of stunning as well. Hope that your doing well.

So you would think this week’s theme would be “simple” enough to complete but sadly I just didn’t have the time to get out and shoot my “simple” theme.  I am pulling one from the session I had last week with my favorite girl.  🙂

Be sure to check out Carrie Hyche – Wheatland, WY photographer from Heart of the West for her beautiful take on “Simple”.  🙂

internet bookmakers - Right here is the perfect site for anybody who really wants to understand this topic.

You understand so much its almost hard to argue with you (not that I personally will need to…HaHa).
You certainly put a fresh spin on a topic that has been discussed for a long time.
    Wonderful stuff, just great!

What can I say????  The last two weeks I have been a bit of a “slacker” when it comes to the 52 week challenge….I am blaming it on the 50 Shades of Grey books! 😉 Needless to say the photos I took for this week’s challenge did not get edited in time so I am using two from this fall for our theme of “Fruit”…..

** just an F.Y.I….if you decide to read the 50 Shades of Grey series be prepared for some pretty “steamy” reading! LOL! 😉

Now go check out the fabulous Elizabeth McDonough of Elizabeth McDonough Photography from North Carolina for her beautiful take on this weeks challenge!

how to remove black skin from neck - I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content
so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful
lot of text for only having one or two images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
